Born into a Family of Freedom Fighters
Dr. Bhoopalam Sunil comes from a distinguished family deeply rooted in India’s freedom movement and public service. His grandfather, Sri Bhoopalam Puttananjappa, and his grandfather’s brother, Sri Bhoopalam Chandrashekariah, were renowned freedom fighters who actively participated in India’s struggle for independence and were imprisoned for their courageous contribution to the freedom movement.
Growing up in a family that valued patriotism, integrity, compassion, and selfless service, Dr. Sunil inherited a strong sense of social responsibility from an early age. Inspired by these enduring principles, he pursued higher education, earning degrees in B.A., B.B.A., and M.B.A., equipping himself with the knowledge and leadership skills needed to serve society.
Rather than pursuing personal recognition alone, he chose to dedicate his life to uplifting communities and creating a meaningful impact through humanitarian service.
Dr. Sunil Bhoopalam is a distinguished author and educator who has successfully written and published five insightful books
covering communication, personal development, relationships, humor, and life skills. His publications continue to empower students, professionals,
families, and readers with practical knowledge, making him one of Karnataka’s respected literary contributors.
Transforming Compassion into Action
For more than 25 years, Dr. Bhoopalam Sunil has devoted his life to improving the lives of people through social welfare, education, healthcare, and community leadership. As the Chairman of the Gandhi Old Age Home – Magadi Main Rd, Near SBI Bank, Kadabagere Cross, Bangalore. he has tirelessly worked to provide free food, accommodation, and medical care to elderly residents, ensuring they live with dignity, security, and compassion.
His passion for education and literature led him to become the President of the Karnataka Rajya Makkala Sahitya Parishad, where he has organized numerous literary, cultural, and educational programs while recognizing outstanding personalities for their contributions to society.
Dr. Sunil also serves as the Vice President of the Vasavi Temple, actively supporting its administration and contributing to fundraising initiatives that have strengthened the temple’s development and community welfare activities. Throughout his journey, his unwavering commitment has been driven by one belief:
